Pizza 🍕 and Family Game Night Tonight!

Mrs. Alaffa's 7th grade science students explored kinetic and potential energy by making marble ramps. They investigated how changing the height of a ramp affects how far a cup travels, collected multiple trials, calculated averages, and graphed their results. Along the way, they saw how potential energy increases with height and transforms into kinetic energy as the marble moves.
More than just rolling marbles, they practiced making hypotheses, analyzing data, and explaining their thinking using scientific evidence real scientists in action! ❤️🖤

All new Baker students for the 26-27 school year are welcome to come meet the teachers, tour the campus, and learn about all the exciting things we offer at Baker MS! All 6-8th grade students are welcome.
