A talented group of Baker Orchestra students had a fun and challenging week at Islander String Camp. They put on an amazing concert after only 4 days of rehearsals! Congratulations to Zina Mbadugha, Sean Alfaro, Hannah Choi, Orlando Rodriguez, Esmeralda Wilmot, and Natalie Corpus. Esmeralda had the honor of being awarded Camper of the Year! Congratulations to these outstanding students and carrying their passion for music into the summer break. ❤️🖤 #ccisdproud

📢 STAAR Scores Are Coming Soon! Starting this evening, CCISD will begin emailing Parent Notification Letters for students in grades 3–8 who took the Spring STAAR tests. 📬 These emails will go out over the next two days and will include: ✅ Your child’s STAAR testing info ✅ A flyer from TEA with steps to access the Texas Assessment Family Portal 🗓 You can start checking scores on Monday, June 17! Our Baker DI team had a great time in Kansas City at the DI Global Competition. They placed 28 out of 50 teams! They met other teams across the world from Australia, Ukraine, and Qatar ❤️🖤 Congratulations!!! #CCISDProud

We are thinking of our 8th grader Isaac as he heads to Washington, D.C. today to compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Our Student Council donated $200 to support his efforts.
