Baker Bronc, Drew Badenhop, has been busy this Spring semester. In March and April he participated in the Nike Jr. EYBL tournament in Dallas and Predestined Ballers Elite College visit at Texas Tech University. Former Baker Bronc, Jonathan Oko, attended the TTU college visit as well. Congratulations on all your accomplishments!
🌎🛢️ Students in Mrs. Alaffa’s class have been learning about the importance of managing our natural resources while exploring renewable and non-renewable energy sources, including the advantages and challenges of each.
Today, they became NOAA interns for a hands-on challenge: clean up an oil spill in the ocean!
The challenge:
💵 Stay within a $500 budget
🧪 Collect at least 50 mL of oil
There were messy moments, creative problem-solving, and meaningful conversations along the way. Most importantly, students showed teamwork, critical thinking, and perseverance while learning and having fun!
